John Scanlan was diagnosed with ALS after symptoms began in 2022. Since then, life has changed drastically for John, his wife Shelley, and their two children, Allie (21) and Jack (19).
Though ALS has taken so much, it has never taken away his heart, his sense of humor, or the incredible love he has for his family.
This journey has taught us to slow down, treasure the ordinary moments, and appreciate every day for the gift that it is.
While the future is uncertain, we continue to hold tightly to hope, lean on the love of family and friends, and find strength in the incredible community surrounding us.
